Hi, I'm Mohamed Outerbah
|
I build and ship production web & mobile platforms end-to-end: AI analytics dashboards at Analytics Depot to HaulHub, a live Uber-style logistics marketplace on iOS & Android, plus products I co-founded that make money organically, with zero ads, within months of launching: DzStore (33+ merchants upgraded to paid plans via SEO alone in its first 3 months since launch) and Fibble (3,000+ players). 3+ years of production experience, 7+ live products for clients across the US, UK, Netherlands, Japan & Saudi Arabia.

Full-Stack Engineer & Problem Solver
I build production platforms that real users and paying clients depend on, end to end.
What I do
I don't just build features, I own them end to end: from database schema and API design through the UI, the mobile app, and the pipeline that deploys it. Nearly all of it runs in live production with real users, including my current work as frontend lead on Analytics Depot (an AI analytics SaaS), where I work Agile in a cross-functional team, and a full-stack role on HaulHub, a production logistics marketplace on iOS & Android.
My work spans real-time collaboration over WebSockets, custom drag-and-drop dashboard builders, RAG document intelligence, Stripe payments, and self-managed VPS deployments.
I co-founded DzStore, a Shopify-equivalent SaaS where I lead nearly all engineering across the full stack, from the multi-tenant architecture to the merchant mobile app. Before that I spent two years freelancing, and hold a 5/5 rating across 6+ delivered production applications.

Work Experience
Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend Lead)
Remote (USA)
- Frontend lead and 2nd-highest contributor in a ~10-person team, owning every user-facing surface of a live AI analytics SaaS.
- Dashboards & reporting: drag-and-drop dashboard builder, shareable password-protected/embed reports, one-click PDF/PowerPoint export, and an NL-to-SQL query interface.
- Real-time & auto-dashboards: took the realtime layer to production (WebSocket URL detection, CSP hardening for wss://) and built auto-dashboard generation that turns an uploaded file into a populated dashboard.
- Data connectors: OAuth2 platform spanning 14 sources, from warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift) to databases and SaaS tools, with per-connector refresh schedules (React + FastAPI + Celery Beat) and in-app sync-failure alerts.
- AI / RAG: document Q&A with inline source citations and one-tap follow-up skills (root cause, forecast, outliers), plus an LLM agent observability console over the trace pipeline (latency and provider-cost drill-down, cost-regression flags, async CSV/JSON export).
- Growth & DevOps: rebuilt the public marketing site, cut deploy time from ~30 min to under 5 with zero-downtime PM2 cluster reloads, and ship through a review-gated pull-request workflow with AI/ML, LLMOps and infra engineers; initialized the companion React Native app.
Full-Stack Engineer (Contract)
Remote (Netherlands)
- One of the primary engineers on a production Uber-style marketplace, live on iOS & Android in the Netherlands: 12 service categories, 100+ skilled-labor sub-categories, 5 languages (EN/NL/AR/DE/UR) with full RTL.
- On-demand dispatch: Haversine nearest-provider matching with per-provider search radius, competing price and pickup-time offers that expire on a timer, live driver tracking over per-ride WebSocket rooms, and an 11-state request lifecycle with proof-of-delivery and disputes.
- Fleet operations (B2B): companies manage drivers and vehicles, assign each trip, and settle every job into company commission and driver earnings.
- Payments & compliance: Stripe escrow with timing-based cancellation refunds, subscriptions and provider payouts, plus Dutch KVK business-registry lookup.
- Architecture: role-based system across 5+ user types with dedicated dashboards, gated by a document-verification pipeline before a provider can trade; Dockerized microservices on Hetzner via Coolify.
Co-Founder & Lead Engineer
Algeria · Remote
- Co-founded a Shopify-equivalent multi-tenant e-commerce SaaS and lead nearly all engineering; in its first 3 months since launch: 1,362+ merchant signups, 1,181+ live stores, 33+ upgraded to paid PRO plans through SEO alone, and 11.3M+ DZD in orders processed (GMV), 100% organic with zero ad spend.
- Platform: subdomain-per-store routing with Caddy on-demand TLS, a 44-model Prisma/PostgreSQL schema, online card payments (Chargily Pay) with HMAC-verified webhooks, and a carrier layer covering 70 Algerian delivery companies behind 5 API adapters.
- SEO engine: 15,000+ pages indexed, a Google Merchant Center feed (2,000+ products), and Meta Pixel integration pulling 3,000+ Google Search clicks a month.
- Mobile: iOS/Android merchant app (React Native + Expo) with real-time order tracking, push notifications, and stock management.
- Reliability: self-hosted on Hetzner via Docker with zero-downtime deploys, 99.95% uptime over the last 90 days, and 1,000+ automated tests keeping shipped features from breaking.
- Revenue protection: noticed free merchants with heavy order volume weren't upgrading, traced customer contact details bypassing the order cap through 8 server-side channels, and sealed every leak behind a single order-privacy module with payload-scanning regression tests.
- Cost engineering: migrated the production Postgres from Neon to Supabase (pg_dump, zero downtime), cutting the database bill by 50%+, and retired ~17 GB/month of CDN egress by persisting the image-optimizer cache.
Freelance Full-Stack Developer
- Delivered 6+ full-stack production applications for clients in the UK, USA, Netherlands, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, rated 5/5 on every project.
- Cribbix (UK): Rightmove-style real estate platform with tenant dashboards, interactive map search, Stripe subscriptions, and Redis caching.
- Owned features, production bug fixes, performance work, and independent VPS deployments end to end.
Web Development Intern
Exclusive Labs
Remote
- Built a course management system using Next.js and Express with role-based authentication for students, instructors, and admins.

Production platforms serving real users: AI analytics, a live logistics marketplace, e-commerce SaaS, and open source. Click any card for the full breakdown.
Analytics Depot — AI-Powered Analytics Platform
Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend Lead) · team of ~10
Frontend lead on a live AI analytics SaaS, owning every user-facing surface: five industry workspaces that prime the agent with domain context, a drag-and-drop dashboard builder, shareable password-protected reports with one-click PDF/PowerPoint export, and an OAuth2 connector platform spanning 14 data sources, from warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift) to databases and SaaS tools.
- Ask questions in plain English, get SQL-backed answers and charts
- Drag-and-drop dashboards with shareable, embeddable reports
- 14 one-click data connectors, from Snowflake and BigQuery to Slack
- Upload CSV/PDF/Excel documents and chat with them (RAG)
Hardest problem: Making auto-generated analytics tell the truth. The builder renders a confident dashboard from any uploaded file, and its mistakes are silent ones a reader would never catch: an allow-list averaged "valuation" under a title promising a total, ranking Oceania above a North America worth 36x more; "Year Founded" captured the timeline slot because 2012 parses perfectly while the real DD-MM-YYYY dates failed month-first parsing; a KPI trend compared two sparkline endpoints and printed -9% where the period change was -1.8%. I caught these by running golden workbooks through the live demo path, and rewrote the inference rules behind them.
DzStore — E-commerce SaaS Platform
Co-Founder & Lead Engineer
All of that in its first 3 months since launch, and still climbing: its best week added 184 new stores, its best month 642 orders. Not a dinar of ad spend, every merchant came from search.
- Merchants launch a full online store in seconds, no code needed
- Every store gets its own subdomain or custom domain with auto HTTPS
- Cash on delivery + online card payments, 70 delivery carriers
- AI product descriptions, abandoned-cart recovery, trending-product radar
- Discount codes, product variants, low-stock alerts, fraud screening
- Merchant analytics dashboard + iOS/Android app with push notifications
Hardest problem: Multi-tenant subdomain routing with Caddy on-demand TLS: every merchant gets their own store and custom domain with automatic HTTPS, all from one codebase.
HaulHub — Logistics Marketplace (iOS & Android)
Full-Stack Engineer
One of the primary engineers across backend, mobile & web on a production Uber-style logistics marketplace, live on iOS & Android in the Netherlands across 12 service categories and 100+ skilled-labor sub-categories, with full RTL i18n in 5 languages (EN/NL/AR/DE/UR).
- Post a job, get competing price and pickup-time offers in seconds
- Live driver tracking, proof of delivery, and dispute handling
- Fleet dashboards for companies: drivers, vehicles, earnings splits
- Stripe escrow payments, 5 languages with full RTL
Hardest problem: Dispatching a request to the right provider in real time: Haversine radius matching that fans out to freelancers and fleet companies, competing offers, live location tracking, and Stripe escrow with timing-based cancellation refunds, across an 11-state request lifecycle.
Fibble — Multiplayer Trivia Game (Web & Discord)
Co-Founder & Full-Stack Engineer
Co-founded a real-time multiplayer bluffing trivia game playable on the web and inside Discord as an embedded Activity. 3,000+ players across 80+ countries and 2,200+ games played in its first 3 months live, fully organic, zero ads.
- Bluff-based trivia: write fake answers, fool your friends, 2-8 players
- Plays in the browser or inside Discord, nothing to install
- Custom question packs, media questions, bots, friends and DMs
- Premium via Paddle on web and native Discord subscriptions
Hardest problem: Real-time multiplayer game-state sync on a serverless Next.js stack with no dedicated game server: Postgres as the source of truth, Ably pub/sub fan-out, server-authoritative phase deadlines with idempotent transitions, and HMAC action tokens so guests and Discord players can't spoof each other.
Cribbix — Real Estate Platform
Full-Stack Developer
Built a Rightmove-style property rental & sales platform (V1 & V2): interactive map search with full filtering, client/agency/admin dashboards, renter profiles, real-time chat, AI-generated property descriptions, and Stripe tenancy payments. Added Redis caching, rate limiting, and reCAPTCHA v3; migrated to Next.js 15 + React 18 and ran full VPS deployment on DigitalOcean independently.
- Map-first property search with instant filtering, rent and buy
- Saved alerts, enquiry tracking, and tour scheduling with agents
- Digital agreement signing and Stripe rent collection
- Real-time chat and AI-generated listing descriptions
Hardest problem: Map-based property search with live filtering that updates results without re-initializing the map on every interaction.
